Nothing looks worse than dark circles under your eyes. Even if you have a soft and supple skin and no sign of any wrinkle, dark circles can actually affect your whole look.

There are many reasons behind why we get dark circles. It can be the genetics, an unhealthy lifestyle or lack of sleep. While it is important to find out the reason behind it, you can get rid of them naturally without having to go through any type of surgical procedures as well.

Cucumbers:

Take out the juice of a cucumber and mix it with lemon juice. Remember that the ratio of both the cucumber and the lemon should be the same. Wash off the mixture with cold water after 15 minutes. You can repeat this process 5 to 6 times a week and you will start noticing a difference soon.

 

Rose Water:

It is known to be as the best natural skin toner. It is also an awesome ingredient for getting rid of the dark circles as well.

Simply soak two cotton balls in rose water for a few minutes. Place the balls on your eyes for 15 minutes. You can do this process twice every day for getting the maximum benefit.

 

Almond Oil:

Make a routine of rubbing some almond oil every night before going to bed. Remember that you should do it with gentle fingers as the skin is very difficult around that area. You can wash off the mixture the next morning with cold water. This is a great method of treating dark circles naturally.

Potato: 

Slice a potato and place a slice on each eye for 10 to 15 minutes. You will see your dark circles disappearing as if they were never there.

You can also grate a potato to juice it and soak the cotton balls. Place the balls on your eyes for 10 minutes. Since it is also a natural remedy, you can repeat the process as many times as you like.

Although all the above mentioned natural remedies are quite effective, yet you need to work on your lifestyle as well. You should include more fruits and vegetables in your diet and minimize the usage of junk and processed food. Try to have at least a good 8 hours of sleep every day, and you will see your dark circles fading away with time.

Used tea bags could be great towards treating your dark circles , puffy eyes and eye bags. Just be sure you cool them down first after they are used for tea. Apply 1 tea bag each on both the eyes for about 15 -20 mins regularly and see the difference in just a few weeks.
