Eczema is basically a skin condition with various symptoms including cracked skin, red or inflamed patches, severe itching and sometimes oozing blisters. There are various causes that contribute to causing eczema including allergies, poor immunity, stress, hormonal imbalance etc. People with eczema usually suffer low self-esteem because this condition causes both misery and awkwardness. Here are some of the remedies which can followed up to treat and diminish signs of eczema.

  • Massaging coconut oil on the affected skin helps in keeping the skin well moisturized and reduces the itching of the skin. Continuous use of coconut oil will help fade away the symptoms of skin problem and softens the skin making it calm and soothing.
  • Lemon Juice is also one of the natural remedy for the treatment of eczema. Applying lemon juice to the affected area not only decreases the skin indicators but also fades the scars or marks away.
  • The important nutrients in Apple cider vinegar have the ability to soothe skin rash. Mixture of equal portions of water and apple cider vinegar can be applied to the eczema rash to diminish flakiness and itching. Drinking two tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar in water twice a day, also helps get rid of eczema.
  • A mixture of petroleum jelly and olive oil is also the best moisturizer for the eczema rash and lessens the discomfort. Keep applying it to affected area 2-3 times a day to cleanse the skin off eczema.
  • Honey’s anti-inflammatory quality helps to repair any skin condition. Simply spread some raw or organic honey to the affected area and let it sit for at least 30 min before washing it off.
  • Supplementing Fish oil in the diet is also an effective way to rid of eczema. Fish oil is rich in fatty acids that are helpful in maintaining healthy skin and reduce skin discomforts.
  • Make a mixture of olive oil and cornstarch and apply it on the affected skin. Leave it on till it dries off and then wash it. Applying lukewarm to the infected skin also helps in reducing scars and soothing the itch.
  • Aloe Vera helps vanish the scars. Apply it on eczema and massage gently. Repeat it twice a day for upto 4-6 weeks for improved results.
  • Herbal oils including Jojoba, Chamomile and Flax seed Oil help in reducing inflammation of skin and eliminating skin rash. Applying on the infecting area and massaging it gently soothes the skin.
  • Magnesium and Sea Salt baths are also effective remedies. Adding sea salt to a bucket of lukewarm water and taking bath with it helps reduce the symptoms and relief the rash.
