Long gone are the days when people would email their friends to keep in touch as the advent of instant messaging dominates the way of communication now. Instant messaging has taken many faces these days; from Whatsapp, to Facebook Messenger. But the prime and former messengers of Hotmail, and Yahoo! remain most users preference.
If you wish to save chat logs on Yahoo! messenger for any reason, here is what you have to do:
- Sign into your Yahoo Messenger.
- In the Messenger window, open “Preferences”, and select “Conversation History”.
- Select the option “Keep a history of my conversations” and then press Apply.
- To view the old chat logs, click on “View Archive”.
- In the end, click on “OK”.
