Chicken pox is a health condition that is very contagious and common during youth. If you get it when you are young, chances are the scars heal fast and the skin will rejuvenate to remove any traces of it. But when you are older, the scars become harder to fade away. These scares are hard to get rid off and difficult to remove then.

With a few home ingredients however, you can say goodbye to those scares and fade them quicker than usual. Here are some tricks to try at home:

Oats are miraculous in making the skin hydrated and soft. They can also be used to remove any form of scar on the skin. Simply soak the oats in warm water to form a paste. When it cools, apply it to the face and rub in circular motions gently. Wash off after 10 minutes with warm water.

Baking soda:

Baking soda is an effective ingredient for skin healing as it aids in maintaining the pH level of the skin. Take two tablespoons of baking soda, and mix it in a cup of water. A paste forms which should be applied to the face as a mask. Wash off after 10 minutes with cold water.

Honey has nutritional and healing abilities for all ailments. It rejuvenates the skin and removes scars by the formation of new cells. Mix some honey in oats and apply to the face as a mask. Leave on for 20 minutes, and then wash off with lukewarm water.

Lemons are citrus fruits that have an ample amount of collagen and oxidants for the skin. Skin damage from sun or health can be healed and lightened to fade with lemon juice. Take some lemon juice, and with a cotton ball, dab the juice over your face and skin parts that have any scar. Leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning.

Cocoa butter:

Cocoa butter is made from cacao seeds, and works as a moisturizer for the skin. It aids in skin healing, and is most used during pregnancy on the belly to avoid stretch marks formation. Rub on cocoa butter on the skin 3-4 times daily to gain quick results from all scar formation.
