Very often, the Windows operating systems need reinstallation for improved computer function. Recovery disc or CDs are normally provided with Windows PCs, but there are many time when you cant find it or it is damaged. And these discs also add in many unwanted applications and programs in the PC which are unwanted.

For such reasons, reinstalling the Windows 7 may be at question: can it be reinstalled without a CD? Of course it can! Here is a guide on how you can reinstall it without the disc:

 

  1. First, you have to find the Windows 7 product key on your computer. This will be a 25-character alphanumeric string printed on a sticker on your PC. You can also use a key finder program like Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to search for it. This is important to reinstall Windows 7.

 

  1. Download the ISO file now for the Windows 7 version you own. You can download this from Microsoft’s Software Recovery website.

 

  1. Now download the Windows 7 USB download tool. This will allow you to copy the Windows 7 ISO file to a USB flash drive.

 

  1. Boot you computer with the USB flash drive now. Follow through the prompts and instructions to prepare the hard drive for installation of Windows 7.
